A collection of the best beaches close to the [manuki mas]

PLAYA CASTELL

At roughly 4 km distance, this nature reserve beach is our absolute favorite. The beach is almost virgin and has looke like it dies now for more than 40 years. The local government has done a great job in preserving this gem for so long without allowing construction of buildings. The beach is never too crowded and the sand is very pleasant for swimming and building sand castles. You can rent sunbeds or bring your own and there are two wooden shacks on the beach offering drinks and sandwiches. The beach is beautifully lined with rocky cliffs to either side and a dense pine forest. You can also use the beach as starting point for walks along the shore to La Fosca, Palamós or the solitary beach of Cala Estreta.
